Kate's introduction to fitness began when she made a promise to herself to turn a negative body image into a powerful self-love through exercise. But working out wasn't enough; she wanted to share her new passion with others. Kate's fitness career started with a certification to instruct cycling, and quickly progressed into certifications for group exercise, mat Pilates, and SilverSneakers. Her teaching style is ever encouraging and her exercises always changing. Kate moved to Salida,  from the east coast in May of 2012 and is looking forward to developing a new style of mind and body awareness to bring to her classes; so come join her for a workout and bring your Rocky Mountain energy! Kate is currently teaching our strong arms and balance ball classes on Friday mornings.  She will also be observing and helping out with other classes.  So, welcome Kate to our Pilates community next time you see her in the studio.
